We offer sessions at our centre in Guelph, as well as in-home sessions in Guelph and the Waterloo region. In West Grey, we offer in-home sessions for families in the Hanover area.

Our ABA sessions take place Monday - Friday. Our morning session block takes place from 9am – 12pm and our afternoon session block takes place from 1pm – 4pm.

This recommendation will vary depending on your child and their individual needs. Sometimes ABA services work on very specific goals which require a lower intensity of services (such as joining a social skills group). Other times ABA sessions will focus on building your child’s skills to meet developmental milestones which can require a higher intensity. This will be a focus during our intake meeting to determine the level of service which is appropriate for your child.

Throughout our intake process, we work to get to know your child and family. We conduct a skills assessment to identify your child’s strengths and areas of need. Our clinical team will meet with you to review the results and ask questions about how your child is doing at home, at school and in other settings. From there, we create a behaviour service plan that includes the goals identified.

Yes we are. Children with core services funding through the OAP can use their funds for our ABA services.

ABA services can be appropriate for a wide range of needs, and therefore a specific ASD diagnosis is not required to receive services.

There are no set terms for the length of services for each child. Throughout services, the clinicians working with your child will consistently assess their progress to ensure they are benefiting from their ABA sessions and making meaningful progress. New goals are consistently added to your child’s service plan as they progress.
